The price of silk products is usually high, and if the price is too low, it is likely to be a counterfeit product. For example, if the price of a 4-piece set of 500 grams of silk is less than 100 yuan, it can be basically judged as counterfeit goods.

Check the fluffiness. Products made from real silk are usually very fluffy and can quickly rebound when pressed hard. If it feels solid, it may be a low-quality product.

Observe the color of the silk. The color of real silk is usually white, with a slight yellow tint, and the color is naturally bright. If the whiteness is too dazzling, it may not be high-quality silk.
Combustion testing. Take a small amount of silk from the product and ignite it. The smoke produced by burning real silk is white, and the burning particles and odor are similar to the burnt protein smell of hair burning. The ash is in powder form.

Check the hang tag. Carefully check the product label, high-quality mulberry silk products will be clearly labeled with "100% mulberry silk". Avoid purchasing products that are only labeled as "100% silk" or "pure natural silk", as these may be mixed with other materials.

Observe the appearance. If the quilt is sewn tightly or marked as "quilted", there may be quality issues. Quilt with zipper openings should be opened as much as possible to observe the tire.

High quality silk quilts usually do not require fixed points because long silk is used.

Internal inspection. High quality silk has a similar color to pearls, is clean and free of impurities, has diffuse refraction characteristics to light, and the silk path is neat and orderly. Avoid choosing pale silk as bleach may have been used.

Touch detection. Real silk has a soft and smooth texture, without any roughness when rubbed, and does not cut hands. Southern domesticated mulberry silk is more delicate and will shine under light.

Dissolution test. Add a small amount of silk to 84 disinfectant, and the real silk can be completely dissolved. If other materials are mixed, they cannot be completely dissolved.
